Calgary West SC is excited to start it’s route towards the AYSL in 2022

which consist of two parts.

Part 1 The Preparation Phase in 2021:

Calgary West SC will be using the 2021 Outdoor season as a preparation phase for the age groups which will enroll into the AYSL first, starting in 2022 season. The groups are 2007 Girls, 2007 Boys and 2008 Girls and 2008 Boys. Our Technical Staff Martin Vlk and Ian Diaz have developed a Technical Plan which consists of our own unique Game Model, Principles of Play and Periodization Plan and modern technology to support the appropriate development and preparation of the players for the AYSL competition.

All 2007 and 2008 players interested in playing AYSL in 2022 are encouraged to join our programs in the Outdoor 2021.

Calgary West SC will be hosting open Club intake in 2021 (exact date and place will be shared soon). This will be open to all of our players and also new players from other clubs. New players will be asked to follow the proper protocols and steps for liability and insurance purposes.

Phase 2 The participation in AYSL in 2022:

This phase will assume that the league will take place as planned within safe measurements, as we can’t anticipate the future situation in regards of Covid-19 restrictions.
