Goalie Academy
Note: There have been changes to the Goalie Academy dates. The new dates are:
Sundays November 2 and 9, and January 18 and March 1 U10-U12 Boys and Girls at 3:30-5:00 and U14-U18 Boys and Girls at 5:00-6:30.
Goalie Drop In (non- academy - open to all teams/players)
Note, there have been changes to the GOALIE DROP IN schedule as summarized below:
1. They are at St. Basil instead of Monsignor Doyle School. 2. They start Sept 29 rather than Oct 6. 3. There is no session on Nov 3 - the rest of the sessions are all the same. 4. They are 1 hour long each. 5. They start at 7:30-8:30 and 8:30-9:30 now.
To summarise, the dates are now:
Sept 29,Oct 6, 20, Nov 17,Feb 2, 9 23.

Player Development
We seek to provide all players, not just premier players, the opportunity to benefit from enhanced technical development with our Head Coaches, Milan Bartosz, Nigel Brattle and Lee Jackson. We offer Every team will be supported at the team level in regular practice times, or at games 3 times during the indoor season. Our Head Coaches will schedule these session with Team Coahes.
Pre Season Fitness and Technical
We will be offering drop in Preseason Fitness and Technical sessions for every age group and gender group. Please see schedule above.
Goalie Training
We will again provide drop in GOALIE TRAINING sessions for all keepers with Darrol Graham and /or Whitney Wardrop.
Each keeper can attend five to seven 1.0 hour sessions included in their fees and premier players will receive intensive low instructor/player ratio sessions with Darrol Graham as part of their academy fees. Please see schedule above.
Academy
Academy will be provided for Premier Teams at extra cost. U10 Development Tier A and U12 + Premier teams will participate in 10 sessions with our Head Coaches. Goalie Academy with Darrol Graham is included.
Academy for Competitive A and B teams can be offered on a team basis for extra cost - $180 for 10 sessions or $100 for 5 sessions. Note these are team based sessions so all players on the team need to commit tothese sessions.

Club Tournament
Included in fees for CMSA program players is the opportunity to register in our own CLUB TOURNAMENT. Whether it be 1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3, or 4vs4, club tournaments provide a fun, competitive experience to hone skills, win prizes and to transcend team affiliations. Last indoor we held a 1vs1 and 3vs tournament. For indoor, the club tournaments are scheduled for SundaysJan 5th and March 15 at the Spray Lakes Sawmill Family Sports centre in Cochrane. (See our practice fields page for a map and driving direction). Registration, rules and schedule details will be sent out nearer the time.
Coach Development
CWSC has set as its goal to have all of its CMSA coaches certified within 2 years. For this Indoor Season we will host NCCP Senior and Child Courses on the September 27/28 weekend at the West Soccer Centre. Coaches should be prepared to attend both days 9-5 pm each day to receive certification.
Coaches also receive team-level support with our Head Coaches providing mentoring support during the season.
CWSC will also provide in-house coach development sessions for CMSA coaches with coaches actively participating in drills and skills led by our Head Coaches.
