CWSC is pleased to open up registration for our Summer Soccer Camps in partnership with BFUT - Instituto Brasileiro de Futebol

The Program

The Calgary West Soccer Club is athlete centred.  It believes that all players, regardless of level of play, deserve the opportunity to enjoy the game of soccer and develop to his or her potential.  The underlying purpose of CWSC is to provide a fun development-focused environment that keeps players playing.  We believe in the principles and training methodology developed through LTAD (Long Term Athlete Development). We are working towards building a better future – today’s performance and today’s scores are not as important as demonstrating patience and promoting proper player development.

The BFUT philosophy and educational program of coaching and playing soccer has provided detailed analysis and application of soccer concepts the world over since 1991.  Our unique program utilizes the Brazilian tehcnical and tactical soccer format, which has proven very effective in emplowering players and promoting an innovative and unpredictable playing stule through focused intensity.  Our system not only develops high quality athletes, but prepares the players to be leaders on and off the field.  The official BFUT curriculum for competitive player development has been applied, analyzed and implemented in more than 30 countries around the world, in 7 different languages.

Together, CWSC and BFUT will partner to teach players the simple, exciting, and winning Brazilian soccer style, adapted to the Canadian game.
