CWSC BFUT Partnership
CWSC is pleased to announce its partnership with Instituto Brasileiro de Futebol (BFUT). BFUT is an educational soccer institute dedicated to teaching Brazilian soccer within North American.
The Brazilian style of play is characterized by individual skill and tactical astuteness. The ball is played on the ground with quick switches in the point of attack. The Brazilian game is about flair, creativity, and unpredictability. CWSC aims to provide its players with the opportunity to learn the concepts of the Brazilian game and adapt these to the Canadian game.
Our partnership will encompass:
- BFUT education methodology integrated vertically in all CWSC programs.
- Brazilian curriculum developed for the Canadian game - available online for all CWSC coaches.
- Head Coach and Team Coach BFUT Level 4 and 3 Licensing in Calgary
- Calgary based BFUT educational player camps and clinics with Level 1 and 2 BFUT Educators.
- Professional and university/college scouting opportunities
- International Education Tours – High quality, intensive training with local player/teams in USA, Europe, Brazil, Bermuda and Australia. Please see the CWSC website to read about the first training event in Brazil – August 2009.
The BFUT Director, Thadeu Goncalves will be an external consultant, supporting the development and application of the education programs for all CWSC programs.
We will be developing age progressive (vertically integrated) curriculum for for both the recreational (Play and Train, HL and ICHL) and competitive (CMSA) programs.
